Are you ready to crunch and apple!? It’s the official Apple Crunch Week in Utah, so find a farmer or neighbor with an apple tree, or market with a Utah-grown apple, and take a big bite!
Utah has a few areas that are ideal for growing fruit like apples and there are a lot to choose from, so be sure to taste a locally grown apple when you can find them! So far, Captain Create hasn’t tasted an apple he didn’t like.
Why eat them anyway? Apples are fat free, saturated fat free, cholesterol free, sodium free, and a good source of fiber. All these vitamins are in apples too: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, and Folate.
