Recipe of the Week: Yogurt Parfaits

Boy, oh boy, did it get hot outside in a hurry! Keep cool and keep your bones strong with a calcium filled snack like yogurt! Yogurt is in the dairy group, and is usually made from cows milk, although you can use goat milk (or even camel if you have that sort of thing!).

Do you remember how many servings of the Dairy Group you need in a day?

Three servings is the recommended number, and a serving is only 8 ounces, which means you get a whole serving of dairy in one parfait!

Captain Create’s friend Candi over at Create Better Health shared her favorite granola for parfaits. Try it out and share what you make with us here or on our Facebook page!
