Today, he is in Delhi, India!

Delhi, the capital of India, has a strong historical background, lots of people, and lots and lots of food! India is a big country with lots of different foods, depending on what part you visit. Delhi is in the northern region. Captain Create will visit the southern region on a different trip!
Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest and busiest markets in the old section of Delhi (people have lived in Old Delhi since the 1600’s!). Chandni Chowk market resembles a fair everyday. The streets are lined with lots of food to taste and people to meet. In the market you’ll see stands run by skilled cooks with different names based on what they serve…
halwais: sweet-sellers,
namkeenwallahs: sellers of savories (meats and veggie dishes that aren’t sweet),
paranthewallahs: sellers of rich, flaky breads soaked in ghee (butter without milk solids in it).
One dish you’ll find in Delhi is the very yummy Butter Chicken, which was invented at the Moti Mahal restaurant in the 1950’s. It is still made the same way there today, and is made in many homes and restaurants all over the world.
Should we try it with Captain Create? Do you like to taste new things?
