One of the easiest ways to make sure you are getting all your vitamins, minerals, and energy is to mix up all the colors on your plate.
How many rainbows have you seen so far this summer? You can see one every day if you eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetables!

Most children beyond age 4 need at least 1½ cups of fruit and 1 ½ to 2 ½ cups of vegetables a day. Serve lots of colors of delicious fruits and vegetables at every snack and meal. You can enjoy your rainbow a day and make it fun by serving frozen grapes, fruit and veggie rainbow kebabs or strawberry-topped frozen yogurt. Raw veggies and dip can build a rainbow too! The American Heart Association says everyone should Eat More Color.
