Hi! Did you start your garden yet?
Our tiny egg carton garden is just getting some tiny leaves poking up, and our big tray of tomato starts had to get planted into bigger pots! We also started a bunch of herbs this morning, so all you can see it dirt so far. Everything lives in our window still, because it is still snowing outside!
My bedroom window now has a “salad garden” started, and soon we can skip going to the store and just trim some leaves out of the pot for our lunch. Look at those tiny leaves!
When you grow a garden, you want to get as much from it as you need to eat, and maybe some extra to share with your friends and neighbors. If your garden is still a baby garden and not giving you anything to eat yet, you still want to get the most out of the veggies you get from the store. This list below will tell you where and how long you can keep your veggies. Of course, we want to eat them so that we can put all that goodness to work inside our bodies!
