Has everyone carved their pumpkins and picked out their costumes? Halloween is just around the corner which comes with lots of festivities. One of my favorite parts of Halloween is getting creative with snacks to bring to Halloween parties. I’ve put together 5 healthy and tasty snacks that you will love!

1. Cinnamon Apple Popcorn

For this recipe, I tossed 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1 cup diced dried apples, and 1/2 cup pecans with 5 cups of popped popcorn. Optional: vanilla

2. Pumpkin Carrot Chips

All you need for these chips are a few large carrots.

First, peel the carrots and cut two triangles on the end of the carrot

Take the knife and cut the wedge down the side of the carrot.

Last, take your knife and slice the chips.

3. Witches Brooms

For this snack, you need stick pretzels and your favorite type of string cheese

First cut the cheese in half

Second, press the pretzel into the end of the cheese

Last, take your food scissors or tear the end of your brooms

4. Candy Corn Parfait

This sweet treat is a fun spin on your classic candy corn. You will need pineapple chunks, tangerines, and vanilla yogurt. Depending on the glass you start with either the yogurt or the pineapple, but always use the tangerines segments as the center.

5. Pumpkin & Spider Deviled Eggs

For this last one, you will need 6 or 7 boiled eggs, mustard, mayo, paprika, green onion, and olives.

First peel and cut the eggs lengthwise

Second, scoop out the yolks into a bowl and add in a small spoonful of mayo and mustard. You can also add in things like minced bell pepper, or garlic to give the mixture more flavor.

Third, scoop a small spoonful of the mixture back into the egg whites.

For spiders: slice a olives in half (lengthwise) and put in the center of the egg mixture. Then cut an olive into 8 pieces (lengthwise) and use to make legs of the spider

For pumpkins: sprinkle paprika over the mixture. Slice up a green onion and place it at the top of each egg mixture to make a pumpkin

With that, the party snacks are done! Perhaps make some apple cider for a drink and you are set to have a great party!

Happy Halloween, and Happy Creating!
