Some lean, mean, and green string beans are about to be transformed into fries! You might be mostly familiar with fries eaten at a fast food restaurant but, believe me when I say, you’re going to want to familiarize yourself with these green bean fries. They’re delicious!
This time of year green beans are growing like crazy! This is a great recipe to use if you have too many green beans to know what to do with. 🙂
What you need: green beans, garlic powder, salt, grated parmesan cheese.
Mix the parmesan with the garlic powder and salt.
Lay the green beans flat on a baking sheet. Try to keep them close together. Sprinkle the green beans with the parmesan mixture.
Bake at 425ºF for 10-12 minutes or until the parmesan has turned a light golden color.
Just like any other kinds of fries, you’ll want to eat these fries when they’re hot!
You can eat green bean fries on their own or with a yummy dip, like ketchup or ranch. If you feel like being creative, sprinkle other spices or a different kind of cheese over the green beans before baking.
